There are several types of membership (membership price per year for 2023 and 2024 i relatives):
- Collective I member - businesses
(over 500 employees – 23.500 kr / under 500 employees – 20.000 kr) - Collective II member – educational institutions (9.800 kr)
- Individual I member - individuals (1.740 kr)
- Individual II member – individuals below 35 year (870 kr)
- Student members – students at colleges/universities (free)
- Honorary members – people who are remunerated by CIGRE (free)
Member benefits: Access to e-cigar. Reduced registration fee for the main session. Collective membership provides co-determination.

Central registration is forwarded to Cigre Norge and Bjørnar Brattbakk.
How to get started?
When you have received your membership number and this has been activated, You can log in to e-CIGRE in the following way:
You must create an account on e-cigré to download or read the CIGRE publications online. Your login is your email, and you choose a password.
Click CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT (at the bottom right of the homepage). Follow the steps and verify your account by clicking on the link you receive in the email.
When you create an account, you have the option to add your membership number in PROFILE AND PREFERENCES (ACCOUNT AREA), and take advantage of free publications and special prices.
The procedure is the same for collective members. You create your own profile, but then you use the company's collective membership number.
