Nordic regional council for CIGRE (NRCC) is one of four such associations within the CIGRE family. It consists of the national committees from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Island, Norway and Sweden.
Nordic regional council will:
- Work to achieve additional benefits for the national committees in the region.
- Building up CIGRE activities in a larger geographical area, and increase interaction between experts in the region.
- Stimulate activities at regional level (Symposium, Collokvium etc.) with less financial risk and increased participation, compared to activities based on national committees alone.
Symposium in Trondheim i 2025 is a result of this work.
